Hello, I'm Lauren!

I'm a qualified teacher originally from East Yorkshire, England, now proudly based in Melbourne, Australia. Education has been at the heart of my career for over nine years, teaching and supporting young people from a wide range of backgrounds and learning needs.

Throughout my career, I've been fortunate to take on a variety of leadership roles in mainstream education settings, including Deputy Head of Science, Leader of Teaching and Learning and roles focused on student wellbeing and support. These experiences have given me a deep understanding of how important it is for every child to feel valued, supported, and capable of success.

One of the most rewarding parts of my journey has been working in a specialised alternative provision setting, supporting children and young people with special educational needs and those who have found traditional education challenging. I've also worked alongside Ronald McDonald House Charities, helping provide education for children who are unable to attend school due to medical needs, ensuring they remain connected to learning during difficult times.

I hold Qualified Teacher Status, Working With Children Check (WWCC) and NDIS Worker Screening Clearance, giving families confidence that their children are learning in a safe and trusted environment.

I believe learning should be flexible, inclusive, and empowering. Whether a student needs academic support, help rebuilding confidence, wellbeing-focused learning, or a completely personalised approach, I am committed to helping them discover their strengths and achieve their goals.
